A: No, the Tot Trot is a reduced fee for your youngsters to "officially" participate with their family and receive their own special Trot shirt.  Great family traditions include their Tots.

Q: Can I walk the 3.1 miles?
A: Yes, we have lots of walkers. We ask walkers to start at the back of the pack.

Q:   Can I bring my dog?
A:   Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome.  Owners maintain responsibility for their pets.  *Please see Dog/Stroller Policy at bottom of page.

Q:   Is rollerblading or cycling allowed?
A:   As they travel at a higher speed, for the safety of others, rollerblades and bicycles are not allowed in the Mini-Cassia Turkey Trot.

Q:   Where do I pick up my T-shirt?
A:  Packet pick-up (T-shirt included in packet) will be Wednesday, November 25th at West End Fire and Rescue from 3-7p.  We STRONGLY encourage you to pick your packets up at this time, however, if you are not able to pick them up on Wednesday, packets will also be available on race day at West Minico Middle School from 8-8:30a.

Q: Can I write one check for all participants?
A: Yes.  We need a separate, signed registration form for each participant, but one check can be sent in with all of the forms.

Q: Is there assistance available if I can’t do the whole course?
A: Yes, we have paramedics and police officers patrolling the course.  If you need assistance, just ask a volunteer or an officer for help.  We also have 1 water stop located on the course.

Q: Are baby strollers allowed?
A: Absolutely. We ask strollers to line up at the back of the pack.  Don’t forget to register your child as a Trot Tot so they can have an official race shirt - Great family photo opportunity!  *Please see Dog/Stroller Policy at bottom of page.

Q: Are there concessions available at the Turkey Trot?
A:  The Mini-Cassia Turkey Trot will provide water during the race and light refreshments after the race for our participants at no charge.  This year we will also have a special concession stand selling hot chocolate and yummy energy cookies to give you that extra boost to finish the race!  The proceeds from these concessions will go to the Mingo Memorial Fund.  Check out our home page for more details!

Q: What if it rains or snows?  Will you still have the Turkey Trot?
A: No matter what the weather, the Trot will go on!

Q: What happens to the proceeds from the Mini-Cassia Turkey Trot?
A: Proceeds from the Mini-Cassia Turkey Trot benefit the West End Fire and Rescue; a local volunteer fire department serving Minidoka County.

Q: Where do I park when I get to the Turkey Trot?
A: There is parking in the West Minico Middle School parking lot.

Q: What if I can't pick up my T-shirt and packet Wednesday, November 25th?
A: Because things get very busy on race morning, we STRONGLY recommend that you pick up your packet the day before.  However, if you are unable to, a last minute packet pick-up will be available race day morning.  Picking up your packet on Wednesday will help to minimize congestion for race day registration and will help ensure that everyone can be at the starting line on time.

*Dog/Stroller Policy:
All dogs and strollers are strongly recommended to line up at the back of the pack.  Please keep all dogs to a maximum 3 foot leash.
